Infadels-Universe in Reverse
Spetterende live-band, die Londense Infadels, maar het debuutalbum We Are Not The Infadels (2006) zakte na een sterke opening toch behoorlijk in. Het recept van de meeste songs was ook wel heel simpel: een repeterende tekstflard en een rockend dansritme, vaak meegeslagen op een koebel. Op album nummer twee moesten de liedjes veel beter worden, zonder in te boeten aan energie. Dat is beslist gelukt in een handvol songs op Universe in Reverse. Zulke melodieuze songs als Make Mistakes en Free Things For Poor People schreef Infadels nog niet eerder. bron:Volkskrant

Foxboro Hot Tubs-Stop Drop and Roll


Eind 2007 en begin 2008 was er nog discussie over de ware identiteit van de Foxboro Hot Tubs. Net voor de release van hun album 'Stop Drop and Roll!!!' kwam de band Green Day dan eindelijk naar voren, zij verklaarden dat de Hot Tubs hun nieuwste project was.
Met Foxboro Hot Tubs is de samensmelting tussen Rock N Roll en Punk een feit, de songs zijn o zo jaren 60, de sound is o zo Green Day. Garage 60s rock ten top! Een beproefd recept, maar geslaagd met verve. Opzwepend. Blijven gaan. Loose control!
